Historical European Martial Arts
All items shown are intended for use by practitioners of Historical European Martial Arts, within a suitable training environment with the appropriate safety equipment.
All steel weapons are rebated, blunted and with the points rounded off, to ensure minimum risk of injury to any training partner.
Due to new government legislation from 6th April 2008 the sale of curved bladed swords has been restricted to only those individuals who can show that they participate in an exempt activity and carry public liability insurance for doing so. Currently the only sword we carry that is affected by this is the Hutton Sabre.
Airsoft
From 1st October 2007 the Violent Crime Reduction Act (VCRA) becomes a part of UK law. Under this law it will be illegal to sell, manufacture or import realistic imitation firearms within the UK. However the Home Secretary has granted a specific defence to Skirmishers, which allows for the continuing purchase of airsoft guns by those participating in, holding or organising airsoft skirmishes.
Under the terms of the Specific Defence no airsoft gun may be sold to anyone under the age of 18, or any one who is not a member of a registered UK Airsoft club or group.
In compliance with the VCRA we are, therefore, currently only able to sell airsoft guns to members of “The Grange” and “Gunman Airsoft”.
Once a national database of club-registered individuals becomes available we will be able to sell these items to registered individuals on confirmation of a valid UK club membership.
